Himachal Pradesh National Law University, Shimla's campus provides a variety of modern infrastructure and facilities for the student's convenience and to enhance their social and academic experiences. The campus library houses a large collection of printed and digital materials, such as books, law journals and other academic periodicals and e-databases to facilitate study and research.
Male and female students are accommodated in separate hostels with air-conditioned and non-air-conditioned rooms. A centralized mess, common rooms, CCTV cameras, etc. are also available. To promote the students' overall development, a variety of indoor and outdoor sports facilities, as well as a state-of-the-art gym are available. The technologically advanced computer lab assists students in gaining essential subject knowledge.
The entire HPNLU Shimla campus is Wi-Fi enabled and has classrooms outfitted with modern teaching aids. A well-maintained cafeteria provides students with hygienic and delicious food at reasonable prices. A large auditorium is available for a variety of formal and cultural events. In the event of a medical emergency, students and other HPNLU Shimla members can use the ambulance service of the Civil Hospital in Dhami. HPNLU Shimla has a moot court for students to practise mock court proceedings which helps them develop real-world legal skills. It also has its own bus fleet for student transportation between the hostels and the campus.
