Guru Nanak Institute of Dental Sciences and Research, Kolkata provides all the necessary infrastructural support that a student needs in their learning process. The institute has a library that offers fully open access to its users. It means that every reader has access to all library resources and can read comfortably. Every year, the library buys new books and upgrades its old ones to the latest edition.
There are facilities for the students to stay in an on-campus hostel at GNIDSR-Kolkata. Boys and girls have separate hostels with 120 rooms. The hostel rooms have basic services such as filtered drinking water, a common area with television and telephone, and so on. Because the hostel is within the campus, the boarders get 24-hour security.
GNIDSR Kolkata has plenty of equipped laboratories for the students. There is a fully furnished gymnasium in the hostel premises for the boarders. The Institute has integrated special clinics and 24X7 medical facilities available for the students, staff and faculties.
Smart classrooms with facilities meet the academic needs of the students. Easy interaction between different software enables the teachers to make the students understand the concepts of medicine and dentistry by showing videos and text simultaneously. Lastly, GNIDSR Kolkata has a 500-seater air-conditioned Sardar Jodh Singh Auditorium for different functions.
