Admission Procedure

Admissions to the BDS course in Guru Nanak Institute of Dental Sciences and Research, Kolkata, are conducted through online counselling and completely on the basis of the merit of a candidate in the NEET-UG (National Eligibility cum Entrance Test). While the admission criteria and eligibility differ from course to course, all students must pass their 10+2 school-leaving test from a recognized board of secondary education with 50% marks in Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Biotechnology as well as pass Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Biotechnology, and English individually.

Additionally, GNIDSR Kolkata also offers MDS courses. Candidates interested in applying for the course need to have a BDS degree from any Government of India or Dental Council of India recognized university and a valid NEET-MDS (National Eligibility cum Entrance Test for MDS) score.
