The GITAM School of Science provides a wide range of infrastructure, including the Central Library, which is a well-equipped library with digital learning resources and web-based e-learning tools available for students. With access to more than 30,000 e-books and 8,295 e-journals, reputable publishers like IEEE, ACM, ASME, and Emerald make their online tutorials and lectures more widely available to students.
There are three hostels for girls and three for boys on campus, each with state-of-the-art facilities such as water purifiers, water coolers, a common TV room, a common reading room, a dining area, wifi, and other amenities to help students feel more comfortable.
The students are provided with well-maintained classrooms as well as various labs to help them develop their practical learning more effectively. For a consistent teaching-learning process, there are labs like the Engine Lab, CAD/CAM Lab, Programming Lab, DBMS Lab, Fluid Mechanics Lab, Hydraulic Machinery Lab, Engineering Graphics Lab, Chemistry Lab, Physics Lab, Pharmaceutical Lab, SM Lab.
The GSS's sports complex has well-equipped fields and courts, including a playground, an indoor stadium, volleyball courts, tennis courts (2 synthetic and 2 clay), badminton courts, a football field, a throwball court, a cricket field, a 400-meter track, a table tennis room with 4 tables, kho-kho fields, kabaddi courts, handball courts, ball badminton courts, and tennikoit courts, to keep students physically and mentally active. Furthermore, the sports complex has separate gym facilities for boys and girls, as well as well-equipped technology, to help students maintain a fit and healthy body and mind.
Other amenities include dining facilities on campus and in the hostels, which provide fresh, proper, and hygienic food for the students and staff members as well as medical facilities for individuals from both inside and outside GITAM Visakhapatnam and an emergency unit available 24 hours a day, seven days a week to deal with any medical crises or medical difficulties.
