The Future Institute of Engineering and Management, Kolkata (FIEM) is a part of the Future Education cluster of institutes, located at Sonarpur. Established in 2002, FIEM Kolkata is renowned for the courses it offers at the undergraduate and postgraduate levels.
At the undergraduate (UG), the programs taught here are B. Tech in Computer Science and Engineering (CSE), Computer Science and Engineering (Data Science), Electronics and Communication Engineering (ECE), Mechanical Engineering (ME), Electrical Engineering (EE), and Information Technology (IT). And at the postgraduate (PG) level, they offer Master of Computer Application (MCA), Master of Business Administration (MBA). FIEM Kolkata and all its courses are affiliated to and approved by the Maulana Abul Kalam Azad University of Technology, West Bengal and the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE).
The Future Institute of Engineering and Management, Kolkata students also have access to a very well-stocked library; air-conditioned labs, and smart classrooms, all in a Wi-Fi-enabled campus and through a 100 Mbps dedicated lease line (1:1). Admission Procedure
The admission procedure of the Future Institute of Engineering and Management, Kolkata is conducted online. Candidates interested for applying for the B.Tech courses are required to attain passing marks in their plus two-level with the relevant subjects. The required entrance exams for these courses are Joint Entrance Examination (JEE-Main)/ West Bengal Joint Entrance Examination (WBJEE).
Additionally, FIEM Kolkata offers postgraduate programmes like the MCA and MBA. A candidate applying for the postgraduate courses must have a bachelor's degree with at least a 50% grade point average. Students are accepted into the MBA course based on their Management Aptitude Test (MAT)/ Common Management Admission Test (CMAT)/ West Bengal Joint Entrance Management Aptitude Test (WBJEMAT) scores and academic performance. West Bengal Joint Examination for Masters in Computer Application (WB JECA) scores are mandatory for admission to the MCA course.
