The Library of Footwear Design and Development Institute, Kolkata has a diverse collection of books, other printed materials, and, in some cases, unique items such as manuscripts, old newspapers, and other sources of knowledge relating to fashion, design, technology, retail, and associated industries. The FDDI Kolkata campus features a large library that fosters a learning and research atmosphere. The library has Indian and international journals and publications on its shelves. The library contains an air-conditioned reading hall and a tranquil ambience, allowing students and employees to focus on their work.

There are two separate hostels for boys and girls. The hostel for boys has 350 accommodation facilities while the one for girls accommodates two hundred individuals. The rooms are fully furnished and equipped. The hostels are allotted on the basis of the first-cum-first procedure.

FDDI Kolkata is dedicated to providing its students with a variety of sports and leisure opportunities that has an indoor sports centre with table tennis, badminton courts, and other activities. Yoga and meditation classes are also held regularly at FDDI Kolkata.

FDDI Kolkata offers multiple labs. The Hi-Tech Lab is a dedicated 4 Mbps leasing line from a reputable Internet Service Provider that serves the completely air-conditioned Computer Lab. It is especially beneficial to students because they may access a variety of informational and instructive websites from within the building. The Cutting and Closing lab provides students with various equipment and machines to improve their skills. The Design Lab Students have access to PCs with applications at the Design Labs. Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe InDesign, Quark Express, Flash, Dreamweaver, and After Effects are among the programs available to students. Students can learn digital painting and animation, as well as how to utilize professional digital still and video cameras, in the Design labs. There are other labs such as the Sampling lab, design rooms, and productivity rooms.

The food is prepared under hygienic conditions.

Medical requirements are looked after by the medical team who are present in FDDI Kolkata. The medical team provides support to students and faculty members.

The classrooms are equipped with the latest technologies and air-conditioned. The classrooms are fully furnished and support interactive learning and teaching. The amphitheatre is a unique set-up with open-air seating that allows students to demonstrate their artistic and creative talents, among other things. It helps students to improve their public speaking skills, increase their communication skills, and build their whole personalities. A fully air-conditioned world-class auditorium with cutting-edge lighting and sound systems, overhead LCD, a recording system, a spacious dais, and solar lights are among other amenities provided by the institute.
