SNAP 2024 Examination Pattern
The candidates are required to appear and qualify for the Symbiosis National Aptitude Test (SNAP) after which they will be shortlisted for the Group Exercise, Personal Interaction and Writing Ability Test (GE-PIWAT). The candidates who clear this stage will be permitted to apply for postgraduate programmes. Each Institute conducts a distinct further admission process for each programme. Each program's cut-off for shortlisting is likewise determined independently. A candidate may be considered for more than one programme based on her/his overall SNAP percentile. In this case, it is expected that the candidate should take the GE-PIWAT for each programme separately.
Note: To be eligible for admission to any Postgraduate programme, all GE-PIWAT components and examinations must be completed. Only those candidates will be considered for the generation of merit, wait, or reject list who show up for all components and tests of the selection process (GE-PIWAT). Any candidate who fails to show up for one of the required components or exams will be disqualified from being considered for any of Symbiosis International (Deemed to be University)'s MBA programmes.

Points to be noted:
-
The SNAP examination is conducted as a computer-based test. It consists of objective questions with four options for each question.
-
For each incorrect answer, there is a negative marking of 25% of the marks allotted to that question.
-
A candidate has the option to take up to three SNAP exams. The highest score among these attempts will be considered for percentile calculation.
