OJEE 2024 Eligibility Criteria

 

The Odisha Joint Entrance Examination's eligibility requirements are stated in the Information Brochure which can be downloaded from the official website of OJEE. Candidates should familiarise themselves with the eligibility criteria before applying for the OJEE exam. Candidates will have their applications declined if they do not meet the OJEE eligibility requirements.

 

The requirement of subjects and minimum marks for admission to different courses are given below:

 

Undergraduate Courses -

10+2 or equivalent examination with Physics/ Mathematics / Chemistry/ Computer Science/ Electronics/ Information Technology/ Biology/ Informatics Practices/ Biotechnology/ Technical Vocational subject/ Agriculture/ Engineering Graphics/ Business Studies/ Entrepreneurship

B. Pharm (4 years)

10+2 or equivalent examination with Physics, Chemistry(compulsory subjects) along with Mathematics/Biology

B.CAT (4 years)

Cinematography - Passed or appearing in 10+2 or equivalent in Science from CHSE, Odisha/CBSE/ICSE/other State Board

Sound Recording & Design - Passed or appearing in 10+2 or equivalent in Science from CHSE, Odisha/CBSE/ICSE/other State Board

Film Editing - Passed or appearing in 10+2 or equivalent in Science/Arts/Commerce from CHSE, Odisha/CBSE/ICSE/other State Board

Integrated MBA (5 years)

10+2 or equivalent examination with a minimum of 45% marks in aggregate (40% marks for reserved category)

 

Postgraduate Courses -

Bachelor's or equivalent degree of minimum 3 years with a minimum of 50% marks (45% marks for reserved category)

MCA (2 years)

BCA/ Bachelor Degree in Computer Science Engineering or OR B.Sc/ B.Com/ B.A. with Mathematics at 10+2 Level or at Graduation Level with a minimum of 50% marks (45% marks for reserved category)

M.Tech/M.Arch/M.Plan (2 years)

Bachelor's or equivalent degree in the relevant field with a minimum of 50% marks (45% marks for reserved category)

M.Pharm (2 years)

B.Pharm with a minimum of 55% marks (50% marks for reserved category)

 

The Government of Odisha's policy would be followed when it comes to the reservation of seats in various colleges under various categories. Only inhabitants of the state of Odisha are eligible for any reservations, and during document verification, they must present a residence or nativity certificate issued by the state's relevant authorities.
