About OJEE 2024

The Odisha Joint Entrance Examination (OJEE) is a state-controlled, centralized entrance exam administered by the OJEE Board for admission to B.Pharm, B.CAT (Film Editing), B.CAT (Cinematography and Sound Recording & Design), MBA, MCA, M.Tech, M.Arch, M.Pharm, M.Plan, M.Sc (Computer Science) and Integrated MBA programs as well as lateral admission to B. Tech./B. Pharm, at various private and government colleges in Odisha.

The OJEE Board's efforts have always been focused on administering entrance exams and offering a fair, transparent, and single-window admission procedure for a wide range of professional undergraduate and postgraduate level courses in the state of Odisha while utilizing cutting-edge technology.

Additionally, based on the All India Rank of applicants from the state of Odisha in the  Joint Entrance Examination Main (JEE Main), the Committee conducts the counselling-cum-admission process for admission to all of the aforementioned courses in addition to the B. Tech, B. Arch, and B. Plan courses. Furthermore, based on the All India Rank of candidates from Odisha State in the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test UG (NEET-UG), the Committee is in charge of conducting the transparent counseling-cum-admission process for admission in MBBS, BDS, BAMS, and BHMS courses in Universities, Government Colleges, and Self-Financed Institutes in Odisha.

The examination is conducted in Computer Based Test (CBT) mode annually.

Special OJEE

After Phase 1 counselling, the Odisha Joint Entrance Examination Board conducts a 2nd/Special OJEE exam. The exam is held to fill any vacant seats left after B.Tech counselling via JEE Main. Because OJEE admission for B.Tech courses is via JEE Main, candidates who do not have JEE Main marks can apply for the special OJEE exam.

Postgraduate courses' vacant seats that are filled through the 2nd/Special OJEE exam are MBA and MCA/M.Sc (Computer Science).

Following counselling, a separate application form for special OJEE is released, and applicants who pass the exam are considered for admission.
