MET 2024 Eligibility Criteria

 

 

Undergraduate Programmes

 

Engineering (B.Tech)

  • Candidates must pass 10+2 from a recognized board

  • They must have studied PCM/ PCB subjects depending upon the course of study

 

Business Administration (BBA)

  •  Pass in 10+2 or equivalent from a recognized Board, with minimum 50% aggregate marks or equivalent

 

Nursing (B.Sc)

  • Pass in 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry, Biology & English from a recognized Board, with minimum 45% aggregate marks in Physics, Chemistry and Biology

 

Life Science (B.Sc Biotechnology)

  • Pass in 10+2 or equivalent with Biology, Chemistry, English and Physics / Biotechnology / Mathematics / any other Life Sciences subject as an optional subject, from a recognized Board with minimum 55% aggregate marks or equivalent, taken together in Biology, Chemistry and Physics / Biotechnology / Mathematics / any other Life Sciences subject

 

Allied Health Science (BASLP)

  • Pass in 10+2 or equivalent with Physics, Chemistry and English with Biology / Mathematics / Computer Science / Statistics / Electronics / Psychology from a recognized Board, with minimum 50% aggregate marks or equivalent in PCB / PCM / PCO* * O – Computer Science / Statistics / Electronics /Psychology.

  • Applicants shall NOT be older than 25 years on the 01 July of the year of admission.

 

Allied Health Science (B. Optom, B.Sc)

  • Pass in 10+2 or equivalent with Physics, Chemistry and English with Biology / Mathematics from a recognized Board, with minimum 50% aggregate marks or equivalent in PCB / PCM

 

Allied Health Science (Bachelor of Occupational Therapy, Bachelor of Physiotherapy)

  • Pass in 10+2 or equivalent with Physics, Chemistry, and Biology with English from a recognized Board, with minimum 50% aggregate marks or equivalent in PCB

 

Allied Health Science (Bachelor of Pharmacy)

  • Pass in 10+2 or equivalent with Physics, Chemistry, English with Biology / Mathematics as optional subjects from a recognized Board

 

Mass Communication (B.A Media and Communication)

  • Pass in 10+2 or equivalent from a recognized Board, with minimum 45% aggregate marks or equivalent

 

 

Postgraduate Programmes

 

Engineering (M.Tech/ M.E)

  • Pass in BE / BTech in a relevant branch from a recognized University, with minimum 50% aggregate marks or equivalent

  • For M.Tech admissions, weightage will be given to GATE-qualified candidates

 

Media and Communication (M.A - Film Art and Film Making, M.A Media and Communication, PGD Corporate Communications)

  • Pass with a Bachelor’s degree in any discipline from a recognized University, with minimum 50% aggregate marks or equivalent

 

Allied Health Science (M.Pharm, PharmD Post Baccalaureate)

  • Pass in BPharm from a university recognized by the Pharmacy Council of India (PCI), with minimum 55% aggregate marks or equivalent

  • Candidate should have obtained registration with the State Pharmacy Council or should obtain the same within one month from the date of admission

 

Data Science (M.Sc)

  • Pass in BCA / BSc (Statistics / Mathematics / Computer Science / Information Technology) / BE or BTech or any other graduation from a recognized University with 60% aggregate marks or equivalent with minimum 2 years learning of Mathematics / Statistics with basic software programming skills

  • Applicants are expected to complete all the academic requirements (Classes, Examinations, and other assessments) of their Under Graduate programs on or before 31 July of the year of Admission)

 

Medicine (M.Sc Clinical Embryology, M.Sc Reproductive and Developmental Biology)

  • Pass in BSc with Reproduction / Zoology / Microbiology / Biochemistry / Biotechnology / Bioscience / Physiology as one of the subjects from a recognized University, with minimum 60% aggregate marks or equivalent.

 

Medicine (M.Sc Medical)

  • Pass in BSc (with at least one subject of Biological Sciences) / BSc Nursing / BSc in Allied Health Sciences / BAMS / MBBS / BHMS / BPT / BPharm from a recognized University with minimum 50% aggregate marks or equivalent. 

 

Allied Health Science (M.Sc Audiology, M.Sc Speech Language Pathology)

  • Pass in BASLP / BSc (Speech & Hearing) / BSLH from any university recognized by the Rehabilitation Council of India (RCI), with minimum 55% aggregate marks or equivalent.

  • Applicants shall not be older than 30 years on 01 July of the admission year.

 

Allied Health Science (MPT)

  • Pass in BPT from a recognized University, with minimum 50% aggregate marks or equivalent

  • Candidate MUST have completed their internship before class commencement

 

Life Science (M.Sc)

  • Pass in BSc (Botany / Zoology / Biotechnology / Food Science / Nutrition / Agricultural Sciences or any other branches of Life Sciences) / MBBS/ BDS / BPharm / PharmD / BVSc / BAMS / BHMS / BE or BTech (Biotechnology / Biomedical) from a recognized University, with a minimum of 50% aggregate marks or equivalent
