About MET 2023 

Manipal Entrance Test (MET) is an online examination conducted by the Manipal Academy of Higher Education (MAHE) for providing candidates with admission opportunities in various courses taught at Manipal University. Manipal Entrance Test (MET), previously known as Manipal University Online Entrance Exam (MU-OET), is a gateway to admission into various UG courses such as BBA, B.Pharm, B.A, B.Tech, and many more. 

MET 2023 is a 2-hour duration exam where candidates are tested across 4 sections namely Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, and English. 

The procedure to reserve slots at MET 2023 will be conducted by the authorities online. Candidates must sign in with their application number and password in order to reserve a spot. It should be remembered that the MET 2023 slot booking will be based on availability and will follow the principle of first come, first served. The two MET 2023 tries will each have their own slot reserved. Candidates who signed up for the first try are entitled to schedule a place for the subsequent attempt. MET 2023 Important Dates

The examination dates for MET 2023 have already been released by the administration of the Manipal Academy of Higher Education (MAHE). 

MET 2023 will be held as a computer-based test (online mode) in two different attempts; 1st attempt (April 28-30) and 2nd attempt(May 27-28). 15th March has been announced as the final date for submission of MET 2023 application form for the 1st attempt. 

MET 2023 Application Procedure

The application form for MET 2023 is now available at https://manipal.edu/. Candidates must visit the site to access the application form, and fill-up the necessary details, and submit it before 15th March 2023 for the 1st attempt. 

The application process comprises:

• Candidates registering themselves

• Verifying the email/OTP

• Online filling up of the application form

• Uploading the required documents

• Paying the application fee

The following points illustrate the MET 2023 application procedure in detail:

• Registration- The first step of the application procedure begins with the online registration of candidates at the official website of Manipal Academy of Higher Education (MAHE). During this procedure, candidates will be required to provide basic details such as phone number, and email id which the candidates will be required to verify. 

• Application form filling up - Once the candidates have registered themselves, they are required to fill up the application. The following details are required in the application form -

  • Candidate’s name

  • Gender

  • Date of Birth

  • Nationality

  • Parent/ Guardian’s name

  • Address for correspondence

• Uploading documents-  Candidates are required to provide certificates/ documents of their current institution information, school name, qualifying examination, board, year of passing, etc. Candidates are also required to upload their recent passport-sized photograph in JPEG format and 4.5*3.5 cm dimensions. The examinee’s signature should be made on white paper.   Both files should be less than 300KB in size. 

• Selecting a program and paying the application fee-  Once the candidates provide their educational qualifications and institutional information, candidates must fill out the following information for course selection: program, stream, course, and examination centre city. 

The Application fee is Rs 600 and the Entrance Test fee is Rs 1400. Payment can be made via debit/credit card and net banking. Candidates wishing to make the payment through Demand Draft must do it in favour of “Manipal Academy of Higher Education”. Those candidates who opt for payment through DD must send the print copy of the filled-up application form along with the Demand Draft to the address mentioned below-

MET 2023 Eligibility

There is no age limit barring candidates from appearing at MET 2023. The most common eligibility criteria for various programs offered by the Manipal Academy of Higher Education (MAHE) include:

• You can register if you have passed an equivalent test from a reputable board or intermediate graduation.

• For B.Tech-English, Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics are compulsory subjects in 10+2.

A grade of at least 50% in math, physics, and any other optional subject (Chemistry, Biotechnology, Biology, or any technical vocational subject)

MET 2023 Examination Pattern

Manipal Academy of Higher Education's (MAHE) administration has released the MET 2023 exam pattern on the official website (manipal.edu) which the candidates can check and get a clear idea of how MET 2023 will be conducted. This will help students to get a better picture of the examination and how to make the necessary preparation. The examination pattern gives students salient information regarding the type of questions, marking scheme, examination mode., duration, etc. 

MET 2023 Results

The results for MET 2023 will be soon released by the administration of the Manipal Academy of Higher Education (MAHE) on their official website. The results can be downloaded by the candidates using their registered mobile numbers. Candidates must check in with their username and password in order to download the MET 2023 Score Card. However, the counselling and seat allocation procedures will make use of the MET 2023 rank list. Candidates who pass the tests are entitled to apply for admission to MAHE and the affiliated institutions in MET 2023.

• The website will show the link to the scorecard which the candidates need to click

• After that, candidates must enter the application number and OTBS password

• Candidates must proceed by clicking on the login button

• MET 2023 scorecard will appear on the screen which the candidates can download

Applicants who pass the exam are eligible for admission to MAHE and the affiliated universities in MET 2023.
