Marking Scheme

Each correct answer in JSAT carries one mark, and there is no negative marking for incorrect answers.

Section-wise Breakdown 

  • English Language Proficiency: This section assesses the candidate's proficiency in the English language, including grammar, vocabulary, and comprehension. There are typically 40 questions in this section.

  • Logical Reasoning: This section evaluates the candidate's ability to analyze and evaluate complex arguments and draw conclusions based on logical deductions. There are typically 40 questions in this section.

  • Quantitative Aptitude: This section assesses the candidate's mathematical skills and ability to solve numerical problems. There are typically 40 questions in this section.

 

Candidates have the opportunity to take the JSAT exam up to three times within the designated testing period. The highest score obtained among all the attempts will be taken into consideration. Each attempt requires a separate payment, and candidates can schedule their retake test with a minimum gap of four days or more from their previous attempt, based on real-time availability. When scheduling the exam, candidates can choose a time slot that is at least 48 hours after the scheduling transaction is completed in the Pearson VUE system.
