IPMAT 2024 Eligibility Criteria

 

IPMAT eligibility criteria are the requirements to be fulfilled by the candidates to appear for the Integrated Programme in Management Aptitude Test (IPMAT) conducted by the Indian Institute of Management Indore (IIM Indore). The IPMAT eligibility criteria are considered by all colleges which accept IPMAT scores. Below are the eligibility details for IPMAT:

  • Applicants must have scored a minimum of 60% aggregate in Class 10 and Class 12 or an equivalent CGPA in the case of the General and NC OBC categories.

  • Applicants belonging to SC, ST or PwD (DA) categories must have secured at least 55% aggregate or equivalent CGPA in Class 10 and Class 12.

  • Applicants must have passed the qualifying exam in the years 2022, and 2023 or appear in 2024.

  • Applicants in the final year of Class 12 or awaiting the results are also eligible to apply provisionally.

State Wise Eligibility Criteria for General and NC/OBC category

  • Applicants applying for the IPMAT exam should have obtained a minimum of 60% aggregate in both Class 10 and Class 12 or the overall score of SAT should be 1600 out of 2400.

State Wise Eligibility Criteria for SC, ST and PWD/DA category

  • Applicants applying for the exam should have obtained a minimum of 55% aggregate in both Class 10 and Class 12 or the overall score of SAT should be 1475 out of 2400.

 IPMAT Eligibility Criteria: Age Limit

  • Applicants belonging to the General or NC OBC category must not be more than 20 years of age as of July 31, 2024, at the time of filling out the IPMAT application form 2024.

  • The age should not be more than 22 years as of July 31, 2024, for the applicants belonging to SC, ST, PWD (DA) categories.

  • Candidates belonging to the Foreign Nationals category must have been born on or after August 1, 2003. 

Important points to remember while applying for IPMAT

  • Candidates in the final year of the qualifying exam or awaiting the results can apply provisionally for IPMAT 2024.

  • Candidates need to produce Class 10 and Class 12 mark sheets along with a school leaving certificate at the time of registration.

  • The percentage obtained will be calculated on the aggregate of all subjects mentioned in the mark sheet.

  • If the candidates are awarded grades or CGPA, then the grade/CGPA will be converted into a percentage based on the procedure certified by the competent authority.

  • Applicants pursuing Class 10 and/or Class 12 from international schools affiliated with foreign boards can also apply.
