Common Admission Test Application Form

CAT 2024 Application Form

Applications to the Common Admission Test (CAT) can only be submitted online via the official website. Candidates are required to follow all norms/guidelines given on the official website while filling up and submitting the application form.

The application form consists of mainly six sections:

Candidate’s name, Father’s/Guardian’s Name, Mother’s Name/Guardian’s Name, and Spouse’s Name as applicable
Category (if not general, then enter the additional details such as Certificate Issue Date, Serial/Entry Number of Caste/Tribe, State/Union Territory of Caste/Tribe, and Caste/Tribe Name)
Nationality
Communication Address
Emergency Contact Details
Upload documents

Scanned Passport Size Photograph and Signature (Recent passport-size photo with a white background and within the dimensions of 1200 pixels x 1200 pixels. Signature within the dimensions of 80mm x 35mm. The file format for both documents should be .jpg and .jpeg and should not be more than 80KB each)
Valid EWS/NC-OBC/SC/ST Certificate (Upload as a pdf document)
Valid PwD Certificate (Upload as a pdf document)

SSC/10th/Equivalent Details
HSC/12th/Equivalent/Diploma Course Details
Bachelor’s Degree Details
Master’s Degree Details
Other Professional Degree Details

(If the candidate is in the final year of their bachelor’s/master’s degree then they can mark the flag ‘Promotion/Pass without Marks’ to proceed further with the application form.)

Work Experience

Enter full-time work experience in days as on the date specified in the registration notification. (Candidates must check all the Industry types applicable to them.)
Break in Experience (In days) if any, needs to be entered in the text box provided.

Programs

Select the program
Select the interview city for the specified program as per the cities listed

Test City

Select any six different test cities as per preference (Candidates are not allowed to select the same city for more than one preference)

Payment

Select the payment mode (General/EWS/NC-OBC - INR 2300, SC/ST/PwD - INR 1150)

A candidate needs to pay the application fee only once, irrespective of the number of institutes he/she is applying for. The fees once paid is non-refundable.
