AAA 2024 Eligibility Criterion

 

AAA 2024 Eligibility Criteria- Undergraduate programmes

  • Age Limit: There is no age limit to apply for the Ashoka Aptitude Assessment.

  • Educational Qualification: Candidates must have completed or be appearing in their final year of class 12th or equivalent examination from any recognized board in India or abroad.

  • Minimum Marks: Candidates must have scored at least 50% marks in class 12th or equivalent examination. For candidates from the SC/ST category, the minimum mark required is 45%.

  • English Proficiency: Candidates must have a good command of the English language, as the exam is conducted in English.

  • Ashoka University's Eligibility Criteria: Apart from the criteria mentioned above, candidates must also fulfil Ashoka University's eligibility criteria for the specific program they wish to apply for. This may include specific subject requirements, entrance exam scores, and other criteria as determined by the university.

  • It is important for candidates to carefully read and understand the eligibility criteria before applying for the Ashoka Aptitude Assessment.

 

 

AAA 2024 Eligibility Criteria- Postgraduate programmes

 

To be eligible for the Ashoka Aptitude Assessment (AAA), candidates must meet the course-wise eligibility criteria for the following disciplines:

  • Biology: Candidates must complete their B.Sc in Natural Science with a minimum of 55% or a GPA of 7/10. This program is open to candidates who hold a Bachelor's degree in Biology, Biotechnology, Chemistry, Physics, Mathematics, Pharmacy, Veterinary Sciences, Agriculture, BE, or BTech, depending on their respective discipline, under the 10+2+3/4 education system. 

  • English: For students from Indian universities, the minimum required percentage to apply for the program is 55%, while for students from foreign universities, a GPA of 3.0 or its equivalent is necessary. While having an undergraduate degree in English may offer an advantage in transitioning to the master's-level study of English at Ashoka University, it is not a mandatory requirement for admission to the program.

  • Economics: Applicants interested in the MA in Economics program must possess a recognized undergraduate degree in any field. It is not mandatory to have an undergraduate degree specifically in Economics to be eligible for this program. Ashoka University graduates who have completed the Economics major or the interdisciplinary Economics and Finance major will be eligible for direct admission if they have a CGPA of 3.6 or above.
