At present, the DDYPMCHRC Pune provides an undergraduate course in MBBS. Final admissions to DDYPMCHRC are granted strictly on the basis of merit. However, the candidates are required to have Biology, Physics, Chemistry, and English as subjects in their higher secondary level along with having NEET eligibility. Additionally, DDYPMCHRC Pune also provides MD, MS, Super Speciality(M.Ch&DM), and Ph.D courses. The faculty members here are highly qualified and are also paper setters for various exams.
To provide a healthy and disciplined atmosphere to its students the DDYPMCHRC Pune features a well-stocked library having its own reading spaces. This library is known to have around 30,329 books, along with a variety of magazines and journals. Furthermore, the different departments of the DDYPMCHRC Pune also have separate spacious laboratories furnished with the latest technology as required by them. Admission Procedure
The admission of Dr D.Y. Patil Medical College, Hospital and Research Centre, Pune is done online. The students (co-ed) are required to qualify for their higher secondary exams with passing marks. The students are to have Biology, Physics, Chemistry, and English as subjects at their higher secondary level. For candidates with disabilities, 40% of marks are to be secured in the reserved category and not less than 45% for the general category students in Physics, Chemistry, and Biology. The National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) eligibility is required.
DDYPMCHRC Pune also offers Master of Surgery (MS), Doctor of Medicine (MD), Super Speciality (M.Ch&DM) and Ph.D courses. The National Eligibility and Entrance Test-Postgraduate (NEET-PG), administered by NBE, will be used for admission to the MD and MS programs. Candidate must have completed their MBBS at a reputable medical college in order to be eligible.
The National Eligibility and Entrance Test-Super Speciality (NEET-SS), will be used for admission to the M.Ch and DM programs. Candidate must have completed their MD/MS at a reputable medical college in order to be eligible. The All India Entrance Test and individual interviews will be used to determine admission to the PhD programme at the Dr D. Y. Patil Vidyapeeth in Pune. The applicant must hold an MD or MS degree in the relevant field from an institution approved by the Indian Medical Council.

Placements
Dr. D.Y. Patil Medical College, Hospital and Research Centre, Pune has a Training and Placement Cell that runs numerous programmes and advises students on a variety of placement-related activities. The Cell organises programmes such as GRE, TOFEL, and IELTS cracking methodologies and provides students with intense training. Dedicated faculty members provide topic-specific intense training for MCQ solving and subject understanding to students in the PG-NEET Guidance Program. Students who will face PG-NEET gain confidence through activities such as repeated examinations to solve MCQs.
Other activities organised by the cell include presentations by guest faculty on how to choose their next professional path prudently and how to select a PG college with caution. There is also a group of dedicated alumni that can assist students who desire to work abroad.
