Admission Procedure

Dr D.Y. Patil Institute of Optometry and Visual Sciences, Pune conducts an online admission procedure for the students (co-ed) to apply for the course of B.Optom and M.Optom. The students are required to qualify for the All India Allied Health Common Entrance Test (AIAHCET) after the completion of their 10+2 level with 50% aggregate marks (45% aggregate marks for reserved category). Applicants seeking admission to the M.Optom course, should have completed a Bachelor's degree in Optometry or an equivalent programme with a minimum of 50% mark and have a valid All India Post Graduate Optometry Entrance Test (AIPGOET) score. If a candidate is unable to attend the admission session due to unforeseen circumstances, he or she may authorize any other responsible person to do so on his or her behalf. The final admission will be based on the merits gained by the students.
