Dibrugarh University, Dibrugarh (DU, Dibrugarh), India's easternmost university, was founded in 1965 as a result of the provisions of the Dibrugarh University Act, 1965, passed by the Assam Legislative Assembly. It is a renowned university with a focus on research and innovation that serves as a physical location to arrange the sociocultural dynamics of North East India. It is located in Rajabheta, which is a neighbourhood next to National Highway 37 and about 5 kilometres from Dibrugarh, Assam's tea and oil-rich administrative centre. The University is home to 177 associated institutions and institutes, which are dispersed throughout Assam's nine districts. All Indian and international universities accept Dibrugarh University as a member of the Association of Indian Universities.

Admission Procedure
