Deen Dayal Upadhyaya College, New Delhi has several facilities to offer its students. The library is well- maintained and spacious. It has a vast collection of textbooks, reference books, journals/magazines, bound volumes, newspapers, CD-R5OMS/DVDs, audio cassettes, etc for the academic and informational needs of students, and faculty. Resources are available for a wide range of disciplines such as Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, Computer Science, Botany, Zoology, Electronics, Economics, Political Science, Technology, Commerce, Arts, English/Hindi/Sanskrit Literature, and History. There are a total of 46,713 volumes of books, 15 newspapers, 68 journals/magazines, and 613 Bound Volumes. The library consists of a large reading hall with an accommodation capacity of 220 students at a time. Apart from the printed resources, the library has access to numerous, e-books, e-journals, and e-magazines.
DDUC, New Delhi has well-constructed hostels for both men and women. Each hostel has a total of 45 furnished rooms. The hostels provide the students with a homely ambience which facilitates a comfortable staying and studying experience. The hostel comes with a mess facility and a spacious and clean dining hall. The food serves here is hygienic, healthy, and delicious to cater to the preferences of all the students. The recreation room at the hostel is air- conditioned and provided with the latest magazines and leading newspapers, and a television for the students to enjoy their leisure time. The hostel provides a first-aid box in case of medical needs, however, during an emergency, the resident will be rushed to the nearest hospital. Other amenities include laundry services, a mini library, a stationery shop, and an Amul counter. To ease banking transactions for students, there is a Punjab National Bank (PNB) branch and ATM located on the campus.
DDUC, New Delhi’s campus is wifi enabled and the classrooms are spacious, well-ventilated, furnished, airconditioned, and equipped with the latest technologies to facilitate a conducive teaching-learning environment. DDUC, New Delhi has well-constructed labs equipped with advanced equipment and apparatus to give the students an outstanding experience during their practical classes. Every science department has its separate laboratory such as the Physics lab, Chemistry Lab, computer lab, zoology lab, botany lab, etc.
Salient meetings, conferences, seminars, workshops, etc are held at the two seminar halls of the college. DDUC, New Delhi also has a fully airconditioned auditorium with state-of-the-art facilities. It has a total capacity of 400 spectators. There is a large wooden stage at the auditorium which is used for activities such as dance, drama, and concerts. All the cultural events and fests organised by the college are held here.
DDUC, New Delhi cafeteria has a pleasant atmosphere. It is spacious and can accommodate 100 people at once. The food served here is delicious, hygienic, and healthy at reasonable rates.
DDUC, New Delhi gymnasium is fully-equipped with advanced equipment for working out and other exercises. The sports complex provides facilities for indoor sports such as an indoor badminton court, an indoor squash court, and facilities for other indoor activities. An outdoor sports facility for archery is also available.
