Deen Dayal Upadhyaya College (DDUC), New Delhi established in 1990, is affiliated with the University of Delhi. DDUC, New Delhi enjoys recognition from University Grants Commission (UGC).
DDUC, New Delhi aims at imparting education and helping students develop skills that will be beneficial in looking for sustainable employment opportunities and making contributions to the betterment of society. DDUC, New Delhi offers nine undergraduate Honours courses in Electronics, Physics, Chemistry, Computer Science, Zoology, Botany, Mathematics, English, Commerce, and Management studies. Other bachelor’s programmes offered at DDUC, New Delhi include Life science, Mathematical science, Physical science, and Bachelor of Arts. A certificate course in French and add-on courses in the Russian language and Effective Communication and Personality Development through Theatre (ECPDT) are being offered at the college too. DDUC, New Delhi follows an online method of admission. Students get admission based on merit and eligibility criteria. DDUC, New Delhi offers Undergraduate courses under the faculty of Bachelor of Arts, Science, and Commerce. Aspiring UG applicants to DDUC, New Delhi must appear for the Central Universities Common Entrance Test (CUET) and admission is done based on the ranks secured by the students in the examination. Aspiring Undergraduate applicants to DDUC, New Delhi also must have passed Higher Secondary Examination with respective streams and concerned courses according to their departments. Selected applicants are called for an interview or viva examination before their final selection.

DDUC, New Delhi offers scholarships to students based on merit and eligibility criteria. Financial assistance from the vice chancellor's student fund is granted to students who have completed the current year’s annual examination from the University of Delhi and belong to APL/BPL families. Undergraduate Science Meritorious Award is granted to students who achieve high scores in Physics, Chemistry, Botany, and Zoology. The physically challenged student from the Arts, Science, or Commerce stream who receives the highest grade is awarded the Vice-Gold Chancellor's Medal.
DDUC, New Delhi has several facilities to offer its students. The library is well-maintained and spacious. It has a vast collection of textbooks, reference books, journals/magazines, bound volumes, newspapers, CD-R5OMS/DVDs, audio cassettes, etc for the academic and informational needs of students, and faculty. Resources are available for a wide range of disciplines such as Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, Computer Science, Botany, Zoology, Electronics, Economics, Political Science, Technology, Commerce, Arts, English/Hindi/Sanskrit Literature, and History. DDUC, New Delhi has well-constructed hostels for both men and women. Each hostel has a total of 45 furnished rooms. The hostels provide the students with a homely ambience which facilitates a comfortable staying and studying experience. The hostel comes with a mess facility and a spacious and clean dining hall. The food serves here is hygienic, healthy, and delicious to cater to the preferences of all the students. To ease banking transactions for students, there is a Punjab National Bank (PNB) branch and ATM located on the campus. DDUC, New Delhi’s campus is wifi enabled and the classrooms are spacious, well-ventilated, furnished, airconditioned, and equipped with the latest technologies to facilitate a conducive teaching-learning environment.
DDUC, New Delhi has well-constructed labs equipped with advanced equipment and apparatus. Salient meetings, conferences, seminars, workshops, etc are held at the two seminar halls of the college. DDUC, New Delhi also has a fully airconditioned auditorium with state-of-the-art facilities. DDUC, New Delhi cafeteria has a pleasant atmosphere. It is spacious and can accommodate 100 people at once. The food served here is delicious, hygienic, and healthy at reasonable rates. The sports complex provides facilities for indoor sports such as an indoor badminton court, an indoor squash court, and facilities for other indoor activities. An outdoor sports facility for archery is also available.

Deen Dayal Upadhyaya College, New Delhi provides Scholarships to students based on their merit and eligibility criteria. Scholarships and awards are ofered to students to encourage and motivate them to attain their career goals. Students who have completed the current year's annual examination at the University of Delhi and are from BPL/APL families are granted financial assistance from the vice chancellor's student fund. Students who achieve the highest grades in B. Sc. (Hons) Physics, Chemistry, Botany, and Zoology are given the "Undergraduate Science Meritorious Award". Each year, the physically challenged student from the Arts, Science, or Commerce stream who receives the highest grade among those enrolled in these streams, with at least 60%, is given the Vice-Gold Chancellor's Medal in the undergraduate (Final Year Passed) test.
