The Cotton University, Guwahati provides the necessary infrastructural facilities to its students. The Cotton University library is known as Dr Suryya Kumar Bhuyan Library founded in 1901, at the time of the inception of the college itself and it is one of the oldest libraries of north-east region.
It's a two-storied building library. After having the foundation stone laid in 1992 the new library building is also known as the Centenary Building. It is located centrally within the campus. It has an electronic library which provides e-resources. It also gives access to the World E-Book Library (WEL) to its members. There are a total of 9 hostels on the campus. 6 Hostels like Anundo Ram Barooah Boys' Hostel, Krishna Kanta Handique Boys' Hostel, Mahendra Nath Deka Phukan Boys' Hostel, Rajani Kanta Bordoloi Boy's Hostel, Swahid Mozammil Haque Boys' Hostel and Seeta Nath Brahma Choudhury Boys' Hostel are there for the boys and 3 Hostels like Dr Kamala Roy Girls' Hostel, Nalini Bala Devi Girls' hostel and Swahid Kanaklata Girls' Hostel are there for the girls.
It has a playground in the middle of the Campus for outdoor games like football and cricket. There are also spaces provided for indoor games too. CU has laboratories for various subjects for learning and experiments and it also has a Computer Centre. CU has a cafeteria called Coffee House which serves good food with proper hygiene. CU has an auditorium named Kalaguru Bishnu Prasad Rabha Auditorium.
