College of Visual Arts, Kolkata provides a praiseworthy infrastructure to the students. There is a central library adorned with valuable reference books and journals that are beneficial in the fields of arts. Inside the library, there is also a provision for audiovisual presentations that are hosted on demand. The students belonging to the background of visual arts need requisite platforms to showcase their talents and grow eventually. To provide that spotlight CVA Kolkata publishes its own wall magazine that is published every year and named 'VISIONISM'.

CVA Kolkata also hosts an event show inside the premises of the institution every month. Nearby the campus CVA Kolkata arranges a nice accommodation for the students. The students having residence far away from CVA Kolkata can avail of that on a rental payment. There is also specially provisioned housing accommodation for the girl students.

The final year students are encouraged to showcase their art in the most reputed art galleries of India and that is generally hosted at Aurobindo Society Ball, Puducherry, Lalit Kala Academy, Chennai, Birla Academy of Art and Culture, Kolkata, Chemould Art Gallery, etc. The students of CVA Kolkata are also given opportunities to grab eminent halls at a concessional rate. Inter-college seminars are also organized on campus. Inter-college football matches are also organized sometimes.
