Budge Budge Institute of Technology, Kolkata strives to provide the best possible infrastructure to support the students.
There are over 50 state-of-the-art modern laboratories for the various departments. BBIT Kolkata has a well-stocked library that contains large volumes of physical books, journals and other related texts, and also provides digital and internet facilities. The campus has separate hostel facilities for boys and girls. The hostel accommodations include two-bedded rooms with attached baths and 3-6 bedded rooms with a common bath. The hostel mess is run by an independent contractor who arranges for both vegetarian and non-vegetarian meals. The hostels also have a visiting room for guardians to meet their wards. The boys' hostel at BBIT Kolkata can provide accommodations to 1000 students while the girls' hostel has 450 seats.
Acknowledging the importance of games and physical activities, BBIT Kolkata has an excellent and extensive sports facility, overseen by the Sports Committee of the Institute. The campus accommodates a football field, cricket ground, basketball court, and tennis lawn, as well as a modern swimming pool and a fully equipped gymnasium.
The campus has a modern cafeteria, auditoriums and seminar halls, a free health clinic, bank, and ATM facility as well as the BBIT Kolkata’s own bus service for the convenience of the students and staff. BBIT Kolkata campus is also fully Wi-Fi enabled, allowing scholars fast and easy access to online resources.
