The 47 acres of sprawling lush green campus of Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan's Sardar Patel Institute of Technology, Mumbai comprises all the needs and necessities of students` paramount. Like any other advanced university SPITM also provides modern amenities to its students with advanced labs for every stream, sports yard, libraries with quality materials, periodicals, magazines, renowned books, spacious auditorium, seminar halls, digital classrooms promoting advanced methods of learning. The whole campus is wifi enabled to ensure the digital advancement in teaching and learning and the wholesome application of other facilities available inside the university premises.
Lab: The campus offers well maintained, well equipped labs for all of its students. Each of the departments have their own specialized libraries with centralized computing facilities.
Library : The library has a massive collection of 23000 books, as well as periodicals, maps, magazines, newspapers, and dictionaries. The university's digital library is also noteworthy, with a wide range of available e-books and 21 subscribed national and international periodicals.libgr
Sports: The large bhavan ground serves as the students' sports courtyard, which is usually used for cricket.
A carrom court is also provided as an indoor game.
Gym: Modern equipments required for gym like treadmill, weight lifting machines are available for the students to use in their free time.
Cafeteria: Students are provided with hygienic cafeteria with adequate foods at pocket friendly rates.
Medical Team : Students provided with 24*7 advanced medical facilities as a dispensary team is alloted in the college campus comprising qualified doctors and nurses.
Socio- Cultural Activities:
SPITM is known for proudly taking part in various cultural activities with a co-operative and interactive approach towards the other institutions growing alongside it. The college organizes intra-college and inter college events that are officially referred as Udaan or The Flight. 'Udaan' is regarded as one of the renowned college festivals hosted by an Engineering College as it provides the aspiring young minds with a platform to showcase their extra curricular activity skills and to display their talents in the field of fine arts and performing arts.
SPITM is exceptionally advanced with respect to its IT infrastructure with various facilities provided to its team.
Cloud storage : SPITM owns a self-authoring cloud storage setup as a file, documents, contacts, tasks, calendar storing and sharing utility that only accessible to its staff. It is cloud storage similar to Dropbox that supports version control and is syncable with Windows/Linux/Mac desktops and Android and iOS based devices.
N.T.P: The college has the set up of an internal NTP Server to keep its network devices & servers synchronized with the standard date & time.
Moodle: Moodle is a public domain course management software by SPITM that is objected towards keeping the proper note of all the periodical enrolments of courses by the students and faculty members. Moodle also associates with news, blogs, discussion forums and facilities for online submission of assignments and quizzes.
