Bankura Unnayani Institute of Engineering, Bankura is situated on a sprawling environmentally friendly campus spanning 42 acres of space in Subhankar Nagar, Pohabagan, Bankura. The BUIE Bankura campus is Wi-Fi enabled and offers a vast built-up area and cutting-edge infrastructure amenities to meet the demands of aspiring technocrats away from the cramped metropolitan environment.
Bankura Unnayani Institute of Engineering has a well-equipped computer centre for computational purposes, a modern language laboratory, and various course-specific labs. There are well-ventilated and spacious classrooms on campus ensuring a suitable academic experience for students. The BUIE Bankura campus also houses an air-conditioned seminar hall and an auditorium for arranging different events. Bankura Unnayani Institute of Engineering, Bankura library houses an expansive collection of 36,000 volumes, 4500 titles, and a digital section providing access to e-journals from IEEE, ASME, ScienceDirect, Springer, and other publishers. The college library also offers photocopying services and reading rooms.
To strengthen Bankura Unnayani Institute of Engineering, Bankura’s games and sports programs, the institute was reestablished in 2015 with new sports amenities, additionally making it possible for students to take part in competitions held outside the Institute. BUIE Bankura offers a common room with facilities and equipment for various indoor games and an indoor gymnasium with multiple state-of-the-art equipments.
There is a separate well-constructed and furnished 31-acre hostel campus offering student accommodation facilities. There are separate dormitories for boys and girls as well as staff quarters offered to students on a first-come-first-served basis. All four of the hostels for boys and girls have full-time wardens and very strict safety and security procedures.
Medical facilities and car services are in place to tackle any emergencies. BUIE Bankura has a well-maintained canteen catering to providing healthy and nutritious food. A medical care unit is stationed on campus to meet all emergency medical needs. BUIE Bankura also offers banking and ATM facilities to students and faculty members.
