Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham, Coimbatore provides world-class infrastructure for its students. With its extensive collection of books, magazines, journals (both Indian and foreign), audiovisual materials, and electronic databases, Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham's Central Library is a knowledge repository. The Central Library has jumped into the big league in a short span of time because of the adoption of new IT solutions. NPTEL Online Videos, National Digital Library, Inflibnet, e-PG Pathshala, WORLD eBook Library, Shodhganga, and other web portals are available to subscribers of this library. For girls and boys, separate hostel facilities are available. Their stay at the hostel allows them to adopt a holistic lifestyle by participating in activities such as yoga, sports, and extracurricular activities.
On campus, there are various hostels with a total capacity of over three thousand and five hundred students. There is a huge sports complex which includes facilities for outdoor games like basketball courts, ball badminton, a ground for playing football, cricket, kabaddi, tennis, volleyball etc. There is also an athletic track as well. Indoor games facilities are also available for the students as well. There are state-of-art laboratories situated on the campus for the subjects like Engineering, Chemical Science, Physical Science, Computer Science etc. Where students can grow themselves in the exploring and learning process. From a central kitchen, pure vegetarian cuisine made under sanitary circumstances is supplied in the student dining halls and canteens. All hostels have a night cafeteria linked to them. The 'Amrita Dispensary' operates 24 hours a day, 7 days a week on campus, providing medical services to students and staff. In-patients are accommodated in 10 beds at the dispensary.
The health care unit provides basic medical care, a pharmacy with adequate medications, and facilities such as an ECG machine, a nebulizer, oxygen cylinders, a defibrillator, an ECG monitor, and a pulse oximeter, as well as first aid. Cases that require emergency hospitalisation and special medical care are directed to well-known hospitals in the area. In case of an emergency, the clinic has two ambulances on hand. All the classrooms are well curated and have air-conditioning facilities for the student's comfort. There are buses run by Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham to bring students and employees from the city and suburbs to the college. The campus has an auditorium for different academic and non-academic programmes.
