All India Medical Institute of Medical Sciences, Rajkot aims to create "wellness" among the general community and to close "gaps" inaccessible tertiary healthcare. It also strives to create a teaching methodology for all divisions of undergrad and grad medical education so that it can be shown to all medical colleges and other affiliated institutions in India that it meets a high standard. To utilise the facilities of the library, the undergraduate students, faculty, and affiliated personnel must complete an application form and submit it after getting the heads of department's countersignature on it.
AIIMS, Rajkot provides separate hostels for boys and girls. The hostels are fully furnished and provide students with comfortable accommodation. The laboratories on the campus are updated regularly to help with research and development. There are separate laboratories for each department. Department Of Anesthesiology and Perioperative Care, Department Of Dermatology, Obstetrics and Gynaecology, Pharmacology, Anatomy, Forensic Medicine and Toxicology, Ophthalmology, Physiology, Biochemistry, General Medicine, Otorhinolaryngology, Psychiatry and many more.
The cafeteria serves healthy and nutritious food to all. The prices of the food are kept to a minimum for students. Medical assistance is provided to students when the need arises. The medical team is present on the campus 24/7 and helps students and faculty members alike. The OPD Services, Hospital facilities and Telemedicine services are extended to students during emergencies. The institute has high-speed Wi-Fi internet facilities. The classrooms are equipped with smartboards, speakers, microphones and projectors. The classrooms are fully furnished. The auditorium at the AIIMS, Rajkot is equipped with the latest audio-visual equipment.
AIIMS, Rajkot also provides buses and cars for students for transportation.
