All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), located in Rajkot, was established in 2020 and aims at removing imbalances in health care across India for the betterment of society. The autonomous institute is approved by both the National Medical Commission (NMC) and the University Grants Commission (UGC).

Guest lecturers are also invited to enhance the learning experience for students. The Government institute offers a 5.5-year MBBS course for students.

Admission to the AIIMS, Rajkot is conducted online. First of all, students must have passed their 10+2 school-leaving test from a recognised board of secondary education. Candidates willing to take admission for MBBS have to qualify for the NEET Examination. The admission process is based on the merit of candidates.

Admission Procedure

To apply for admission to the All India Institute of Medical Sciences, Rajkot, candidates have to appear for the National Eligibility Entrance Test (NEET). All the nine AIIMS institutions across India - in New Delhi, Patna, Bhopal, Jodhpur, Rishikesh, Guntur, Raipur, Nagpur, and Bhubaneswar - offer admission through this exam.
