Guwahati, Oct. 12: Chanakya Moni Gogoi of South Point School, Guwahati, and Kritika Upadhaya of Maharishi Vidya Mandir, Guwahati, won the under-19 boys’ and girls’ singles titles in the two-day CBSE Cluster I Table Tennis Championship that concluded at Nihal Singh Thakur Indoor TT Hall in Don Bosco School here today.

In the under-16 singles, Akash Barua of host Don Bosco School beat Aditya Dey of South Point School for the boys’ title and Akankshya Bhuyan of Sree Agrasen Academy prevailed over Riza Anirban of Maria’s Public School for the girls’ crown.

Aiwoom Seng Duari of Holy Home Sr Secondary School, Guwahati took the under-14 boys’ singles crown and Shirley Barua of Maharishi Vidya Mandir, Silpukhuri fetched the girls’ title.

In team events, Maharishi Vidya Mandir, Silpukhuri, and DPS, Duliajan, won the under-14 girls’ and boys’ titles respectively while Don Bosco School, Guwahati and Maria’s Public School, Guwahati lifted the under-16 boys’ and girls’ trophies respectively.

Don Bosco School and Faculty HS School, Guwahati, claimed the under-19 boys’ and girls’ team titles respectively.
