Alexis Bledel, of Gilmore Girls and the 2004 Aishwarya Rai Bachchan-starrer Bride & Prejudice, and Kurt Russell are set to star in the indie thriller Crypto. Alexis, who currently stars in second season of The Handmaid’s Tale, and Russell will be joined by actors Luke Hemsworth, Jeremie Harris, Vincent Kartheiser and Beau Knapp in the new film. The story follows a young anti-money laundering agent (Knapp) tasked with investigating a web of corruption and fraud in his remote New York hometown, where his father (Russell) and brother (Hemsworth) are struggling to maintain their family farm in a changing economic landscape. The film is currently shooting in New York.

Fantastic feat

Just approaching 10pm, with the June sun starting to fade over the lilac horizon, we treaded cautiously over the quaint cobbled streets. The house was just one block off Edinburgh’s ravishing Royal Mile. Marco was standing outside number 33 to let us in. The 6”4’ Italian housekeeper in his faded Azzurri T-shirt and distressed jeans was most gracious with the heavy luggage.
