The film’s earlier 14 November release was stalled after the Federation of Cine Technicians and Workers of Eastern India (FCTWEI) raised objections
The film released in theatres on 21 November and was screened at the International Film Festival of India (IFFI) on Friday
The honour will be presented at a ceremony slated for April 2026 at the Dolby Theatre in Los Angeles
