Established in 1984, Yeshwantrao Chavan College of Engineering, Nagpur (YCCE Nagpur), is recognised by the University Grants Commission (UGC) and approved by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE).
Affiliated to the Rashtrasant Tukadojo Maharaj Nagpur University, YCCE Nagpur offers undergraduate Bachelor of Technology (BTech) courses and postgraduate Master of Technology (MTech) courses. To gain admission to the BTech programmes, students must qualify the Maharashtra Common Entrance Test or the Joint Entrance Exam (JEE) Main. For admission to the MTech courses, students must qualify the Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE). YCCE Nagpur has a highly qualified faculty, who strive to impart quality education to the students.

Admission Procedure
Admissions to the undergraduate B.Tech and postgraduate M.Tech courses at Yeshwantrao Chavan College of Engineering, Nagpur take place via the Centralised Admission Process (CAP) conducted by the State Common Entrance Test Cell, Maharashtra. Students can participate in the CAP for admissions at YCCE Nagpur after qualifying the Maharashtra Common Entrance Test (MHT CET) or the Joint Entrance Examination-Main (JEE Main) in case of B.Tech courses, and after qualifying for the Graduate Aptitude Test for Engineering (GATE) for the M.Tech courses. BTech candidates must also qualify their 10+2 level examinations from science stream with a minimum of 45% marks in aggregate in Physics, Mathematics and Chemistry/Biology/Biotechnology/IT/Vocational subjects/Computer Science in order to be eligible for admission at YCCE Nagpur.
