XIM University (XIMU), Harirajpur, Odisha, was founded as per the provisions of the Xavier University, Odisha Act, 2013. At present, XIMU has become one of the premier institutions for imparting quality education in various areas like Business Management, Human Resource Management, Rural Management, and more, to students at a global level.
XIM University, Harirajpur is an autonomous university which has been approved by the University Grants Commission (UGC). To assist students with proper knowledge and guidance, XIMU features a group of professional faculty members. The co-ed University offers various undergraduate courses such as B.Com in Accounting, Finance; BBM in HR, Marketing; B.A + LL.B (Integrated); B.B.A. + LL.B (Integrated); B.Sc (Hons.) in Economics, Sustainable Development, Environmental Science, Mass Communication; B.Tech in Computer Science and Engineering; B.A (Hons) in Public Administration and Governance; Bachelor in Planning; B.A (Hons) in Psychology, and English. Candidates willing to take admission have to register themselves through the official website. After the completion of the registration process, applicants have to fill out required information and pay an application fee before submitting their application forms. Candidates selected on the basis of their merit will be notified for an interview followed by the final admission process. Additionally, students seeking admission to Law courses have to provide the entrance exam score for the selection purpose. To enhance learning opportunities, undergraduate students are offered a range of merit based scholarship schemes. From a furnished library with a vast collection of books, journals and magazines; a digital library with e-resources; 2 types of labs such as Bloomberg lab, Communications studio/lab; to on-campus Wi-Fi; spacious smart classrooms; and an auditorium, XIM University, Harirajpur serves all the basic academic amenities to students. Admission Procedure
XIM University, Harirajpur, has an admission procedure in which candidates have visit the official website and register with their name, valid phone number, and email address, after which a login ID and password will be generated in order to access the online application form for the courses of Commerce, Law, Economics, Sustainability, CSE, Liberal Arts, Communication, Governance and Public Affairs, and Human Settlements. Candidates must login and fill out the required information (personal and academic), as well as upload scanned copies of their photo and signature, and select the required course. The next step is to pay the application cost online before submitting the application form.
The students applying for Law courses at XIMU will have to provide the entrance exam like the Common Law Admission Test (CLAT) or All India Law Entrance Test (AILET) or Xavier Law Entrance Test (XLET) score for the selection purpose. Admission to the B.Tech course is on the basis of the Xavier Engineering Selection Test (XEST) or Joint Entrance Examination Main (JEE-Main) score. A merit list of the selected candidates is created based on this and they are called for an interview followed by the final admission process. XIMU also offers postgraduate degrees ( MA /M.SC / M.Tech / MBA) with various specializations. To apply for their MBA degree candidate must qualify for XAT/ N MAT/ CAT /GMAT. For an M.Tech degree candidates must qualify for an entrance examination at Xavier Engineering Entrance Examination. For PhD degree candidate must qualify X-RAT / UGC/ NET / CSIR-NET with valid marks.

The Career Advisory Services Committee oversees all Career Advisory Services-related activities. It investigates the students' summer internship as well as their final career advisory services. Professionals also advise students in developing important soft and hard skills, giving them an advantage in furthering their career goals.
Scholarships
XIM University, Harirajpur offers multiple scholarships to deserving candidates to help them meet their educational expenses. The Merit Scholarship is provided to first year students obtaining at least 90% marks in aggregate in 10+2 level examination and continued if the students secure a minimum of 8.0 CGPA in subsequent University examinations. The topper of the batch in every undergraduate also receives Merit Scholarship every year. All the aforementioned scholarships amount to 50% of the course/tuition fee.
