Women's Christian College, Nagercoil (WCC), established in 1915, is affiliated with the University of Madras. WCC, Nagercoil has received recognition from University Grants Commission (UGC). The college was established with the mission of nurturing the latent potential of the women of India by providing them with remarkable higher education in the fields of liberal arts and sciences. For UG admission at WCC, Nagercoil candidates must pass the HSC examination in the relevant stream from any board. Candidates for PG admission at WCC, Nagercoil must complete a bachelor's degree in a relevant subject from a recognized university. For M. Phil admission, candidates must have a master's degree.
