Located inside Mumbai’s Filmcity Complex, Whistling Woods International, Mumbai (WWI Mumbai) is one of the leading institutions in India for disseminating education in various creative and technical fields of Film at the global level. The prestigious institute which is affiliated with the Tata Institute of Social Sciences, Mumbai laid its foundation stone in the year 2006. The University Grants Commission (UGC) has recognised the institute as well.

To get admission to WWI Mumbai, students have to appear for the following - the General Aptitude Test, the Creative Aptitude Test, the Statement of Purpose, and the Interview. Scores secured by students will determine their selection. It is important for students to have pass marks in their Higher Secondary Examination from any recognised board. Students are provided with proper guidance by the placement committee of WWI, Mumbai. Workshops and masterclasses are also arranged for the betterment of students.
With an aim to encourage students, WWI Mumbai offers a library house for providing a broad range of books, other printed materials, and other knowledge sources relevant to fashion, design, technology, retail, and related businesses. An on-campus air-conditioned library equipped with not only Indian journals but also foreign publications is also available for students. To enhance practical knowledge, students are provided with various department-specific labs which are fully furnished and well-equipped. Some of the labs which are associated with WWI Mumbai include the Sony Media Technology Centre, REDucation Lab, YouTube Space Mumbai, WWI Jio VR Lab, and WWI Emerging Media Lab. Other major facilities provided by the college are air-conditioned smart classes, an auditorium, on-campus WIFI access, a medical team, and a hygienically maintained canteen.

Admission Procedure
Whistling Woods International, Mumbai conducts an online admission procedure. The students (co-ed) are required to have pass marks in their Higher Secondary Examination from any recognised board. The General Aptitude Test, the Creative Aptitude Test, the Statement of Purpose, and the Interview are all required for admission to the B.Sc courses. Other courses like B.A in Screenwriting and Media and Communication, BBA in Event Management, and Sports and E-sports Management, B.Des in Visual Communication, Animation and Design, B. An in Fashion Design, and Music Production and Composition are also provided to the students that require a pass in 10+2 eligibility only.
WWI Mumbai also offers degrees in M.A. and MBA programs. Candidate should be a graduate of a recognized university in order to be admitted to both programs. And the selection will be based on the performance in the following entrance exams conducted by the institutes- General Aptitude Test, Creative Ability Test, Personal Statement of Purpose, and Personal Interview.
