It kickstarted functioning in 1951 under the helming of Mr. Kulapathi APC Veerabhau and now is managed by V.O Chidambaram Educational Society. Affiliated with Tirunelveli's Manonmaniam Sundaranar University VOCC, Thoothukkudi provides undergraduate, graduate, and research programs.
