Visvesvaraya Technological University, Belgaum (VTU Belgaum) was established by the Government of Karnataka. It is approved by the All India Council for Technical Education [AICTE]. VTU Belgaum was established to impart technical education consistent with design-based engineering programs. VTU Belgaum offers an outstanding infrastructure that provides the perfect setting for a rich learning experience. It has a comprehensive space with classrooms and laboratories. They are all equipped with modern amenities to increase the learning situation of the students e.g. audio-visual means of projection, upgraded apparatus, and PCs in the computer section. It has sufficient room in the hostel to provide a comfortable stay in the accommodation facilities received with other allied facilities like safety and security, medical services, etc. The sports zones are equally exceptional with indoor and outdoor facilities that can be practiced in those areas. The information services aspect is extremely efficient with its printed and non-printed materials. The non-printed materials are accessed by digital subscription to national and international portals. VTU Belgaum offers undergraduate programs in a four-year Bachelor's Degree in Science/allied science. The courses are Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.)/ B.Sc. Honours Physics, Mathematics, Chemistry, and Nano-Science. The postgraduate programs of engineering are conferred with a Master of Technology [M. Tech] degrees with specializations in Artificial Intelligence, Internet of Things (IoT), Robotics, Machine Learning, Cyber Security and Data Science, etc. Students may also consider pursuing a Master of Management [MBA] degree with specific specializations.

Admission Procedure
Visvesvaraya Technological University, Belagavi is offering four-year Bachelor Degree in science/allied science with Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.)/ B.Sc. Honours Physics, Mathematics, Chemistry and Nano-Science. The postgraduate programs of engineering are conferred with Master of Technology [M. Tech] degrees with specialisations in Artificial Intelligence, Internet of Things (IoT), Robotics, Machine Learning, Cyber Security and Data Science, etc. Students may also consider pursuing Master of Managemnt [MBA] degree with specific specialisations. The applicants of the engineering and management department need to qualify JEE Main or GATE for Engineering courses, and Common Admission Test [CAT]/ Management aptitude Test [MAT]/XAT for the MBA course. Students who complete all the requirements for the award of the Bachelor of Science (Honors) degree have the option to study the Master of Science degree of one year in any University or he /she may join integrated Ph.D. Programme.

The faculty of Visvesvaraya Technological University, Belagavi devises the best pedagogic methods to establish appropriate moral and responsible personalities among the students. They guide the students with projects to simulate with industry partners, thus allowing students to gain valuable work experience and build strong networks with industrial value systems. In this manner the faculty also offers extensive practical training, allowing students to hone their skills and gain hands-on experience and identify their interest factors in their chosen fields.

Visvesvaraya Technological University, Belagavi has an extremely well-functioning Placement Cell to assist its students with employment opportunities of their desired aspirations. The students undergo two internships. They also take responsibility to train and sharpen the skills of the students by organizing different orientation programs, seminars, and soft skill training classes to boost the students’ confidence while seating before their potential employers of global repute like Berger, IBM, ITC, Cognizant, Infosys, Byju’s, Mindtree, etc.
