Vishnu Institute of Pharmaceutical Education and Research, Narsapur (VIPER Narsapur) was founded in 2007 under the auspices of Sri Vishnu Educational Society (SVES) and was inaugurated on August 16, 2007, by His Excellency Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam, former President of India. VIPER Narsapur is accredited by the AICTE and PCI in New Delhi and is affiliated with Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University in Hyderabad, Telangana. It is the only pharmacy school in Telangana to have received accreditation from both the NBA and the NAAC.
VIPER Narsapur offers B.Pharm and M.Pharm degrees. B.Pharm admission at VIPER Narsapur is done in accordance with the guidelines established by the EAMCET convener. And M.Pharm admission is done in accordance with guidelines established by the GPAT Convener, PGECET. VIPER Narsapur has a dedicated and trained faculty. The goal of the faculty is to provide young pharmacy professionals who can contribute to the healthcare industry with the best knowledge and practical abilities. VIPER is situated in Narsapur, Medak.
VIPER Narsapur is situated on 4 acres of land in a peaceful setting. In addition to providing the infrastructure and resources necessary for academic performance, VIPER Narsapur also offers pedagogical approaches to teaching and learning. VIPER Narsapur features 13 large classrooms, 20 well-equipped labs, a number of specialized labs, a computing facility, a herb garden, a drug museum, a seminar room, a greenhouse, and an animal house. The Library has a total space of 150 square meters and is located in the R.K. Venkatraman block of the campus. 10 PCs with 120 Mbps internet connectivity are available in the digital library. In the library, reference volumes are available for study. At the library, photocopying equipment is available. It subscribes to 20 international, 19 national, 393 e-journals, and 10 magazines in addition to having a sizable collection of over 10786 volumes and 1431 titles.
The Training and Placement Cell of VIPER Narsapur coordinates campus interviews for final-year B. Pharmacy and M. Pharmacy students by liaising with reputable pharmaceutical businesses and clinical research organizations around the nation. The primary goal of the placement team is to offer training for the integration of personality development, provide all students with employable skills, create dynamic leaders and inventive businesspeople for the country, and obtain 100% gainful employment. The cell strives hard to hold technical seminars, workshops, hands-on training sessions, and symposiums. The students of VIPER Narsapur get placed in companies like Spinco Biotech, MSN Laboratories Pvt. Ltd, Dr.Reddys Laboratories, Yashoda Hospitals, etc.

Admission Procedure
Vishnu Institute of Pharmaceutical Education and Research, Narsapur offers B.Pharm and M.Pharm degrees. Candidates who have completed the 10+2 programme with Physics and Mathematics and who have received a minimum of 50% of their possible points are eligible to apply for B.Pharm admission at VIPER Narsapur. The Engineering Agricultural and Medical Common Entrance Test (EAMCET) scores will be used as the basis for selection. Either EAMCET counselling is required for admission, or students can enrol at VIPER Narsapur in the Medak District. The Graduate Pharmacy Aptitude Test (GPAT) is used for non-sponsored candidates, and the University's admission exam is used for sponsored and self-supporting candidates. Admission for M.Pharm is by GPAT/PGECET counselling or enrollment at VIPER Narsapur, Medak District.
