Vidyavardhaka College Of Engineering, Mysuru (VVCE Mysuru) is an autonomous engineering institute affiliated with VTU [Visvesvaraya Technological University]. VVCE Mysuru was established in 1997 and is approved by AICTE & UGC, New Delhi.
VVCE Mysuru offers 7 UG programs, 3 PG programs, and 9 Research Centres for pursuing Ph.D. programs, with a total student population of over 3200. VVCE Mysuru is one of the pioneering institutes of engineering having a gigantic infrastructure adjunct with separate buildings.
VVCE Mysuru houses both Boys' and Girls’ hostels, which have more allied facilities like Banks, shops, a cafeteria, etc. Apart from classrooms being spacious and gorgeous, the most intrinsic factor about classrooms is, they are equipped with lecture-capture solutions to help the students revisit the lectures post-class. The sports complexes are huge and have arrangements to play games like basketball, football, tennis, etc. The Library at VVCE Mysuru features the facility of borrowing a laptop, like books to access the subscribed and free online articles from e-resources driven by the library. The students utilise the magnificent infrastructure of VVCE Mysuru beyond academics as their co-cirricular and extracurricular activities by conducting several initiatives organised by the Clubs and Societies, which are technology related in the majority, but they also do have charitable and cultural associations.
VVCE Mysuru offers a range of courses from bachelor's to doctorate degrees. The undergraduate degree is offered with Bachelor of Engineering [B.E.] in different branches of engineering and Bachelor of Science [B. Sc.] (Honors) in 3 divisions of Science. Postgraduate degrees are offered with Master of Tecchnology [M.Tech.] and Master of Business Administration [M.B.A.] with several specialisations. Doctorate degrees are offered with Ph. D. in different branches of engineering, honors streams, and business administration.
The Training and Placement department [TAP] is an integral part of VVCE Mysuru, which is instrumental in aiding students with placement-related situations from training them to inviting employers they take responsibility for everything, and the students of all departments in different levels are successfully placed in high-regarded concerns accordingly. It has the most supportive faculty who guide its students throughout their academic and personal development. Professors indulge innovative methods to inculcate professional ethics, leadership qualities, communication, and entrepreneurial skills to meet societal needs.

Vidyavardhaka College of Engineering, Mysuru offers undergraduate engineering courses with Bachelor of Engineering [B.E.] in Computer Science, Electronic and Communication, Information Science, Mechanical, and so on to the eligible students who have qualified Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Mains/ Consortium of Medical, Engineering, and Dental Colleges of Karnataka [COMED-K]; Bachelor of Science [B. Sc.] (Honors) in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics. Postgraduate courses include Master of Technology [M.Tech.] with specialisations in Computer Science and Engineering and Machine Design through Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) and Postgraduate Common Entrance Test [PGCET]; and Master of Business Administration [M.B.A.] with several specialisations in Finance, Marketing, Human Resource, etc. Ph.D is offered to all the stated disciplines.
