Veterinary College and Research Institute, Namakkal’s (VCRI) infrastructural facilities include the main library equipped with internet facilities consisting of 9975 books, 2800 back volumes, 87 Journals, 48 video cassettes, and 97 DVD/CD resources. Apart from the main library, every department has an individual library filled with important books pertaining to their respective departments. The Computer Centre provides students with free hands-on training in computer applications. Besides offering internet services to departments and students the Computer Centre also provides courses on computer applications in veterinary and animal sciences to postgraduate students.

The campus of VCRI Namakkal has the Animal Feed Analytical and Quality Assurance Laboratory which is used to test the feeds meant for poultry and livestock. The hospital at Veterinary College and Research Institute, Namakkal is used for imparting training to veterinary graduates, and a separate department of Clinics with staff from all the clinical subjects was established with goal of providing better and more efficient service to the livestock and pets of the region along with providing proper training to the graduates.

The wifi-enabled college campus consists of spacious and well-maintained classrooms for the students. The seminar halls are used for conducting lectures, meetings, seminars, etc.

The College provides separate hostel facilities for both boys and girls. The P.G students have separate hostels from the undergraduate students. The hostels have several amenities such as free internet connectivity for the students after college hours, a centralized kitchen with steam cooking equipment, and a solar water heating system is available at both men's and ladies' hostels. Dough kneading and gasifier facilities are also available for the students to prepare healthy and hygienic food. Twice a week, a part-time medical officer visits the hospitals to provide free medical care to the students.
