Vardhman Mahavir Medical College & Safdarjung Hospital (VMMCSJHND) is a medical and nursing college and hospital that was established in 2001 and is located in New Delhi. VMMCSJH, New Delhi is affiliated with Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University. It has been accredited by the NABH and approved by the MCI, AICTE, and INC.
The VMMCSJH, New Delhi offers 3 undergraduate degree courses in Medicine and Surgery (MBBS), Nursing (B.Sc Hons Nursing), Paramedical (B.Sc MLT) and one diploma course in Paramedical (Diploma in Medical Lab Technician). Admission to the MBBS program is based on the All India Pre-Medical Test (AIPMT) Entrance Exam administered by CBSE or the Common Entrance Test (CET) administered by Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University. For the B.Sc(Hons) Nursing program, applicants are required to clear the National Eligibility Entrance Test (NEET-UG) examination. The other programs are based on the applicant's academic merit and university entrance exam. CET results can also be used for admission to the Diploma in Medical Lab Technician program. VMMCSJH, New Delhi aims to provide maximum placements and internships to students every year to provide students with the practical experience that they require. There are 200 seats available for internship training for the MBBS course. VMMC-SJH arranges for both paid and unpaid internships. The campus houses a library with a total area of 2700 square feet with photocopying and a book bank facility and a collection of about 26,018 Books, 101 print journals, over 10,000 journals, 2122 theses, 1168 CDs, 235 e-journals on the ERMED Portal, 1000 e-books, clinical overviews, drug monographs, procedure videos, patient education brochures and six computers enabled with high internet connectivity. There are several course-specific laboratories, and 24*7 medical services considering the college also exist as a fully functioning hospital. VMMCSJH, New Delhi provides accommodation facilities: one hostel for girls and two for boys, both fully furnished, with mess facilities, a TV room and other sports facilities.

Admission Procedure
VMMCSJH, New Delhi offers MBBS/MD/MS/B.Sc programmes with a variety of specializations. Admission to MBBS is based on the All India Pre-Medical Test (AIPMT) Entrance Exam administered by CBSE or the Common Entrance Test (CET) administered by Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University. The National Eligibility Entrance Test (NEET-UG) score is the admission criterion for B.Sc (Hons) Nursing. The other undergraduate course candidates will be admitted based on their previous qualifying exam results and the VMMCSJH, New Delhi entrance exam. The CET is also used for diploma course admission. Candidates who are interested should review the eligibility requirements for the various programmes and then apply through the official website.
VMMCSJH New Delhi also offers postgraduate ( MD/ MS ) degrees with various specializations. Interested candidates can apply through their official website. To apply for their post-graduate degree programme candidate must qualify for an entrance examination National Eligibility Entrance Test (NEET-PG). And for their super speciality (M.ch) degree candidates must qualify National Eligibility Entrance Test (NEET-SS) with valid marks. Final admission is based on merit basis.

Placements
VMMC-SJH has approximately 200 seats available for internship training for the MBBS course. The vacancy of seats for internship training for external candidates is determined by the vacancy after internal candidates are adjusted. The internships offered are both paid and unpaid and provide the students with the practical experience that they require to move forward in their field.
