Vaikunth Mehta National Institute of Cooperative Management, Pune (VAMNICOM Pune) is one amongst the seven constituent centers established by VAMNICOM Pune that conducts Executive or Management development program courses for Senior officials or non officials of the cooperative sector.
VAMNICOM Pune is one of the very few institutions that extends exclusive short duration courses to enable executives to enhance their corporate managerial skills through advanced and innovative pedagogy under the able guidance of eminent professionals all over the world. Under the Chairmanship of the late Prof. D.R.Gadgil a group of highly skilled professionals were appointed by Government of India to provide advanced training to working lads in corporate sectors and that training led the establishment of VAMNICOM Pune in 1964.
Since the establishment VAMNICOM Pune was firmly subjected to order, cultivate, blend and organize courses in business management for senior personnels in cooperative business organizations and train them on innovative facets of Management. VAMNICOM Pune is the merged form two reputed institutions that are Central Institute of Management for Consumer's Business (CIMCOB) and National Cooperative College and Research Institute (NCCRI).
Shri Vaikunth Mehta, being a doyen of the corporative movement VAMNICOM Pune was named after him in April 1967. The seven specific centers that are alloted for various spectrums of training are as follows Centre for Cooperative Management, (CCM), Centre for Management Education (CME), Centre for Information Technology (CIT), Centre for Research & Publication, Centre for Gender Studies (CGS), Centre for Management Development Programmes (CMDP) and Centre for Entrepreneurship Development (CED).

Admission Procedure
Vaikunth Mehta National Institute of Cooperative Management, Pune offers programmes like PGDM in Agro-business Management. The application form must be filled out and submitted online through the official website for interested candidates. The website offers a download for the application form. Additionally, the candidates must be successful in one of the entrance exams, such as the Common Admission Test (CAT), Xavier Aptitude Test (XAT), Graduate Management Aptitude Test (GMAT), or Common Management Aptitude Test (CMAT). Group Discussion and (c) Personal Interview should come after the applicants have submitted the required marks on the application form.

Placements
Vaikunth Mehta National Institute of Cooperative Management, Pune’s placement activities are coordinated by a committee comprising elected student representatives and a faculty member as the Placement Coordinator. It acts as a liaison between potential employers and students. The committee also makes pitches to new companies and makes them aware of the rapid developments happening in the Institute. Guest lectures and industry interface sessions are hosted by the committee. All communication regarding summer and executive recruitment is routed through the Placement Committee. Since the program's inception, the institute has achieved 100% student placement. Some of the recruiters are - ADM Agro Industries India Pvt. Ltd., Reliance Retail Ltd., Vistaar Financial Services Pvt. Ltd., ICICI Bank Ltd,HDFC Bank Ltd.,Nagarjuna Fertilizer & Chemical Ltd., etc.
