University of Science and Technology, Ribhoi (UST Ri Bhoi) was founded in accordance with the requirements of the University of Science and Technology, Meghalaya Act (No. 6 of 2008), which was passed by the Meghalaya Legislative Assembly and published in the official government gazette on December 2, 2008, under the number LL(B)87/2008/21. The University Grants Commission has granted UST Ri Bhoi permission to offer degrees in accordance with section 22 of the UGC Act of 1956. Additionally, UST Ri Bhoi has acquired the required permission from the Pharmacy Council of India, BCI, New Delhi, NCTE, ERC, and AICTE, New Delhi. The ERD Foundation, based in Guwahati, sponsors UST Ri Bhoi, which is barely ten years old. UST Ri Bhoi was founded in an idyllic setting surrounded by peaceful vegetation on the Assam-Meghalaya border at Baridua, 9th mile, across from the CRPF Camp, Ri-Bhoi.
UST Ri Bhoi offers ample UG, PG, Diploma, and Ph.D. degrees. UST Ribhoi follows the online admission procedure and the application form can be obtained from the college's website. UST Ri Bhoi has a dedicated and trained faculty. The mission of the faculty is to contribute to society by developing leaders and maximizing youth potential via excellence in learning, creativity, and entrepreneurship.
UST Ri Bhoi provides its students with the best in terms of infrastructure. The campus is equipped with modern teaching facilities, and all classrooms are Wi-Fi enabled. With over 150 lecture halls, tutorial rooms, and 6 seminar halls including a Central Auditorium with a capacity of 3000+, UST Ri Bhoi is designed to provide students with the best educational environment. The Library provides library services through its many sections and has a collection of more than 80,000 volumes of literature on applied sciences, biological sciences, business sciences, education, engineering and technology, social sciences, and humanities.

Admission Procedure
University of Science and Technology, Ri Bhoi offers ample UG, PG, Diploma and PhD degrees. UST Ri Bhoi follows online admission procedure and the application form can be obtained from the college's website. For UG admission, students must pass HSC(10+2) from any board. Candidates for PG admission, must complete bachelor's degree from any university and for Ph.D. degree admission, postgraduation is required. However, entrance exams will be given to candidates for the MBA (exempt if they have passed the CAT, MAT, XMAT, etc.), B.Pharm, D.Pharm, and BA ( Administration & Governance). A merit list may be created using the qualifying examination results, the entrance test, and the interview. Candidates must pass the entrance exam and interview in order to be admitted to the Ph.D. programme.
