Admission Procedure

University of Agricultural Sciences, Dharwad offers Four years Undergraduate degree ( B.Tech, B.Sc, B.H S.c) and Two Years Postgraduate degree (MBA, M.sc, M.H.Sc)  with various specalization. Interested candidate can appply through their official website. To apply for their degree candidate must qualify basic admission criteria. For their Undergraduate degree candidate must completed higher secondary education 10+2 in science discpline, and candidate must qualify for an entrance examination Common Entrance Test. UAS Dharwad conducts admission as per the guidelines of CET Cell of Karnataka Examination Authority (KEA).  And for postgraduate (M.Sc and MBA, M.H.Sc) degree  candidate must completed graduation in any branch of Agriculture / Horticulture with 60% marks. And candidate must qualify for an entrance examination PGCET-KFU (Farm Universities of Karnataka) Or ICAR-AIEEA(PG) with valid marks. Final admission based on merit basis.

UAS Dharwad also offers PhD and Diploma degree with various specalization. To apply for their PhD degree candidate must completed masters degree with 6.5/10 marks in any barch of agriculture / Horticulture or equivalent degree. And candidate must qualify for an entrance examination ICAR-AICE-JRF/SRF(PhD) with valid marks.

University of Agricultural Sciences, Dharwad has a specific placement cell whose main goals are to assist students in their interview preparation and help them land internships. Agricultural workshops and industrial tours are often conducted by the placement cell in an effort to increase the learning opportunities for all students. Student receives employment as an associate in the company as a field biologist, chemist, or other position.
