The college libraries have a vast range of both printed and electronic resources to meet the educational and informational requirements of students and staff. The general library and departmental libraries of Thiagarajar College, Madurai (TC) have about 1,06,237 volumes on various disciplines, 100 magazines, journals, daily, weekly, and fortnightly newspapers, 300 audio resources for visually-challenged students, and 60 Talking Books (Ro-talk-audio cassettes). The library uses Modern Lib software, which is automated and contains an archive of 3101 rare volumes across all subject areas. The college library’s subscription to N-LIST, DELNET, and National Digital Library gives authorised people access to a humungous amount of e-resources.
The college provides separate accommodation facilities for girls and boys. The hostels have a capacity of 400 students and offer several amenities such as 24 hr security surveillance, provision for hygienic steam-cooked food, etc.
Playgrounds and play courts of Thiagarajar College, Madurai (TC) are available for sports. The campus provides sports facilities for football, basketball, volleyball, and facilities for indoor games as well. The college campus has an indoor gymnasium that is well-maintained and equipped with the latest fitness machinery.
