The Madura College, Madurai (TMC Madurai), is an autonomous government college established in 1880 as Madura Native High School, before being renamed. Affiliated to Madurai Kamaraj University and recognised by the University Grants Commission (UGC), The Madura College, Madurai offers undergraduate courses for Bachelor of Arts (BA), Bachelor of Science (BSc), and Bachelor of Commerce (BCom) degrees, postgraduate programs for Master of Arts (MA), Master of Science (MSc), Master of Commerce (MCom), and Master of Philosophy (MPhil), and doctorate (PhD) courses. Admission is done via open, single-window counselling, giving students from all backgrounds and walks of life equal opportunities to attend TMC Madurai.

Admission Procedure

The Madura College, Madurai provides 8 M.Phil. programmes, 9 Ph.D. programmes, 13 post-graduate programmes, and 21 undergraduate programmes. Each course's application is on a single form.
Admission is accomplished by open, single-window counselling. Seats are being filled in accordance with the Tamil Nadu government's reservation policy.
