The Heritage Academy (THA Kolkata), Kolkata is a part of the Heritage Group of Institutions. It was set up in the year 2007 by the Kalyan Bharati Trust. THA Kolkata offers undergraduate and postgraduate degrees across the fields of business, computer applications and media science. The degrees offered are Bachelor of Business Administration, Bachelor of Computer Applications and B.Sc. Media Science. Their programmes and courses incorporate innovative pedagogy and methods, which are the need of the hour for students entering into the professional space. Students are also encouraged to participate in a variety of clubs and activities to keep them inquisitive and engaged alongside academics.

THA Kolkata is currently affiliated to the Maulana Abul Kalam Azad University of Technology (MAKAUT), West Bengal. Admission Procedure

The Heritage Academy Kolkata is affiliated to the Maulana Abul Kalam Azad University of Technology (MAKAUT) and all their admissions are based on the results of the Common Entrance Test conducted by MAKAUT. All applicants, however, must have passed a 10+2 examination from a recognized board of education.

They offer three undergraduate courses at the moment, Bachelor of Business Administration, Bachelor of Computer Applications, and B.Sc. Media Science. Candidates get admission to the postgraduate course through the Common Entrance Test (CET) conducted by the University. It is mandatory that a student have English as a subject in their school completing exams to apply. There are other eligibility criteria that differ across the three courses.

Beginning in the fifth semester, students are eligible for campus placements (final year). Some of the renowned companies that visited The Heritage Academy, Kolkata for placements include Delloitte, Cognizent, SAP Labs, LTI, Wipro, TCS, Capgemini, and others. THA Kolkata has a very good placement programme with an almost 90% success rate. The placement procedure starts with Summer training and other programmes to develop soft skills. To further support students, THA Kolkata also has a Career Development Cell that helps students identify their interests and strengths and make career choices accordingly.

Students of THA Kolkata normally become eligible to apply for campus placements from their 5th semester and most find internships and positions by the time they finish.
