Techno International, Batanagar, Kolkata (TI Batanagar) is a private engineering institute affiliated with the Maulana Abul Kalam Azad University of Technology (MAKAUT), West Bengal. TI Batanagar was established in 2012 and was initially named Techno India, Batanagar.
TI Batanagar is situated on a sprawling eight-acre campus in Kolkata’s industrial hub in the Maheshtala-Taratala region. The TI Batanagar campus is equipped with top-notch infrastructural facilities and amenities such as wi-fi-connectivity, spacious classrooms, a well-equipped library, state-of-the-art laboratories, a well-equipped seminar hall, transport facilities, a cafeteria, a health centre, sports facilities, and hostel accommodation for boys and girls.
Courses offered at TI Batanagar include B.Tech in five academic branches/departments- Computer Science and Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Electronics and Communication Engineering, and Civil Engineering. TI Batanagar also offers AICTE-approved diploma courses in Civil Engineering and Mechanical Engineering which are affiliated with the West Bengal State Council of Technical and Vocational Education and Skill Development. The minimum requirement for admission to B Tech/diploma programmes is passing the 10+2 examination in the science stream from an accredited board. WBJEE or JEE Main scores are used to determine admission to the engineering programmes. The West Bengal Board of Joint Entrance Examination (WBJEE) offers online counselling following the announcement of entrance test results according to the directives of the Higher Education Government of Bengal. Admission into diploma programmes is conducted on the candidate’s JEXPO scores. Following the announcement of the entrance test results, the WBSTCE holds an online counselling session where seats are filled according to the regulations stipulated by the Government of West Bengal's Department of Higher Education.

Students of TI Batanagar also participate in various extra-curricular and professional society activities such as quizzes, technical talks, technical poster competitions, seminars, and student conventions. TI Batanagar hosts its annual cultural festival “Equinox” every year.

Admission Procedure
Techno International, Batanagar, Kolkata offers individuals a B.Tech curriculum in a variety of specialities. The minimum requirement for admission to the B.Tech program is a 10+2 in science from an accredited board. West Bengal Joint Entrance Examination (WBJEE) or Joint Entrance Examination (JEE Main) score is used to determine program admission. According to the Higher Education Govt. of Bengal's directive, the West Bengal Board of Joint Entrance Examination offers online counseling following the announcement of entrance test results. TI Batanagar offers a three-year Diploma in Engineering program with two specializations. The minimum requirement for this program is passing the 10th or 10+2 test from a recognized board. Joint Entrance Examination for Polytechnics West Bengal (JEXPO) scores are used to determine who gets into Diploma program. Following the announcement of the entrance test results, the WBSTCE holds an online counseling session where seats are filled in accordance with the government of West Bengal's Department of Higher Education's regulations.
