Techno India Hooghly (TI-Hooghly), established in 2002, is a technical and management college under the Techno India Group located in the city of Chinsurah. TI-Hooghly is affiliated to the Maulana Abul Kalam Azad University of Technology (MAKAUT) and the postgraduate course provided is approved by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE). TI-Hooghly aims to provide a stimulating educational experience for students to prepare them for leadership roles in their professions and society at large. The Institute attempted to train skilled technical labour, arranging for workshops, seminars and special courses on a regular basis.
Techno India Hooghly offers 4 courses in all - 2 undergraduate (UG) and 2 postgraduate (PG). The UG courses are Bachelor of Business Administration and Bachelor of Computer Applications, both full-time courses for a duration of 3 years. The PG course list comprises M.Sc in Computer Science and Master of Computer Application, both full-time courses for a duration of 2 years. The Training and Placement Cell of TI-Hooghly works in close collaboration with industries in and around West Bengal to ensure good placements for the students. The Career Counselling Cell guides them through the process. The major recruiters of the students of TI-Hooghly include Tata Consultancy Services, Cognizant, Infosys, L&T, IBM, Accenture, Wipro, Amazon, and many more. With the teacher-student ratio maintained at the AICTE recommended 1:15, the highly qualified faculty strives to impart excellent education to the students, making the process of learning highly enjoyable.
Admission to TI-Hooghly takes place offline on the campus. Except for the MCA course, which requires a valid score at WB-JECA, students need to qualify the Common Entrance Test to be admitted to the Institute. Students can fill up the admission enquiry form on the official TI-Hooghly website for further assistance from the Institute. The library is well stacked with printed texts on relevant subjects, and also provides access to lots of digital books, online journals, and other e-learning resources. TI-Hooghly has a state-of-the-art computer laboratory to help students through their academic sojourn. A cafeteria and a recreation room being present on the campus for students to avail themselves, TI-Hooghly ensures that the students have a fun time learning the skills that would help them to develop themselves as well as the region and the country as a whole.

Admission Procedure
Admission to Techno India Hooghly takes place offline on campus. Candidates must qualify 10+2 level examinations to be eligible for the undergraduate programmes, and seats are filled on a first come first serve basis. Summer training programmes are arranged to better aquaint the students to professional settings.
