T. A. Pai Management Institute, Manipal (TAPMI Manipal) is proud of its 37-year history, rooted in a value system that promotes moral behavior, respect for diversity, and a desire to succeed in all facets of life. TAPMI Manipal is the constituent college of the Manipal Academy of Higher Education (MAHE) from August 1, 2021.

In 1980, the late Shri Tonse Ananth Pai (T. A. Pai) created the Manipal Institute of Management, which was renamed the T. A. Pai Management Institute (TAPMI).
TAPMI Manipal is approved by AICTE. TAPMI Manipal offers Master of Business Administration (MBA) and Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) degrees. Admission to TAPMI Manipal is done online, and the application form can be obtained on the college's website.

Admission Procedure
T. A. Pai Management Institute, Manipal offers MBA and Ph.D degrees. For MBA admission, A graduate degree from an accredited university with a minimum grade point average of 50% is required for eligibility. Shortlisted candidates will be chosen based on their Common Admission Test (CAT)/ NMIMS Management Aptitude Test (NMAT)/ Graduate Management Admission Test (GMAT)/ Xavier Aptitude Test (XAT) scores. Students' registered email addresses will be used to notify them of the shortlist choice. Lastly, candidates who have been shortlisted must attend in the personal interview and a moderated group discussion. For Ph.D admission, a master's degree with a two-year minimum duration, or its equivalent, from a university or institution is required. Candidates should email a full set of their Ph.D application materials. Candidates who have been shortlisted will be invited to take part in the next round of admissions, which will take place in the University.
